Two brothers’ story of being stateless and orphans in Thailand. They feared they would be homeless without support, but at The Freedom Story, they have new opportunities and a new chance at life.

When Cat met Rachel Sparks, she was only 9 years old. Her father had already passed away, and her mother passed a few years later, leaving Cat an orphan. All indicators pointed to a high risk of endangerment and exploitation for a girl like Cat.

When Som Ying was only two years old, her father was put in jail and her mother, who suffers from a heart condition, was forced to raise her younger sister. Through the help of mentors, she was able to seek out her own identity and achieve her dream.
