What is a donor-advised fund (DAF)?
DAFs (donor-advised funds) are tax-advantaged ways to make a charitable donation, giving donors more flexibility in how they fund their donation (via cash, stocks, or other assets) and the ability to specify how the fund is invested.
DAFs generally allow for more immediate income tax deductions and potentially reduce capital gains taxes and estate taxes. Recurring gifts are easy to make, and your investment can grow tax-free over time. It’s a simple, yet impactful way to leave a charitable legacy.
