THANK YOU
January 7, 2021

You all knocked it out of the park! In our End of Year Campaign, a whopping 565 of you helped raise a total of $160,896! That’s more than half again as much as we had hoped to raise. We were completely gobsmacked, humbled, and filled with gratitude. THANK YOU FOR THIS. We head into 2021 knowing we have a strong foundation to provide a solid buffer for the kids who are vulnerable to traffickers and exploiters. We expect 2021 to still be a difficult year – if the Coronavirus surges again there may be more lockdowns. Meanwhile, those who lost jobs or months’ worth of income from the previous lockdown are still navigating the impact of that loss. Your commitment, however, gives us optimism and faith that we will be able to continue shielding the vulnerable students from the impact, providing them with security and stability through this year.

A Look Ahead

Over the coming weeks, we’ll share more about what we’ve been able to accomplish last year, and what we anticipate this year – there will be interviews, updates, student stories and more!

Most immediately, JANUARY is National Slavery and Human Trafficking Prevention Month! Be sure to stay tuned to our social media accounts on Facebook, Instagram, or on Twitter, as we’ll be doing a focus on centering victim/survivor voices and needs – what that looks like in policy and in practice. We believe it’s critical that not only do we raise awareness that trafficking exists, but that we need to do more to bring victim/survivor voices to the forefront of how we engage with anti-trafficking measures and practices.

Also, Monday, January 11 is Human Trafficking Awareness Day. You can participate in the Blue Campaign or follow along on social media and help spread the word!

Thank You

THANK YOU SO MUCH for being a part of trafficking prevention. We are so grateful for our community of people so generously committed to investing in protecting children at-risk. We can’t wait to see what we’re all able to accomplish together in 2021!
